Following on from the North Pole trip 2012 both Mike & Clare have continued to maintain a high level of fitness and training , and the opportunity to attempt the North Patagonian Icecap was just too tempting. This trip involves boat trips on rivers and lakes , camping and horse riding with South American Gauchos , climbing a glacier to access the icecap , and after crossing the icecap , descending through a rainforest to meet another boat!

Clare and Mike are joining up with three others to attempt this trip , which has only seen a handful or crossings due to its remote location and the difficulty of accessing the icecap.
